![]() I wanted to also throw in the idea of adding a "offshore" boat DLC to give the devs the chance to make money off this map, (if we ever get something like it). There could also be wahoo and tuna further from the reef, since it would get pretty deep at the bottom of the slope. There could be a sloped reef underwater that could hold fish like Mu, Uku, and goatfish, (sorry, but that's all the hawaiian fish names I know, lol). To throw another suggestion out there, Hawaii could also be done fairly easy. I do have a more biased opinion towards Florida and North Carolina, seeing as I live in NC, and travel to Florida very often to fish and spearfish. If anyone else has ideas of a ocean map, it would be great to show interest so we could maybe get it in the future. Obviously this map would require a boat to fish on, so the level requirement would be high, and having a boat requirement on a new map could entice people to buy boat DLC's, (it's cruel to us, but it's how the dev's make money to give us better stuff). There could also be a huge drop-off at some point on the map where you could drop bait like whole squid to catch queen snapper, tilefish, and swordfish at 1,600+ feet deep. Maybe they could also add vertical jigs to catch fish like amberjacks and barracuda. In the more open section of ocean, you can troll for fish like wahoo, sailfish, and tuna, (blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, skipjack tuna, bonito). ![]() These spots can have higher chances of holding fish like Mahi Mahi (dorado/dolphin), and triple tail. In the section of map, there could be floating debris like barrels and sea grass. There could be open ocean with map borders to limit map size and keep the devs from having sleepless nights making endless ocean. ![]() I was thinking about a atlantic ocean style map, (offshore of Florida maybe). Fishing planet definitely has the fresh and brackish water fishing down, but how about getting a ocean or primarily salt water map? ![]()
